Biography
The music we play is uniquely ours. We each have music influences, but have tried to not copy what someone else does. Early influences have been Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Arlo Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Harry Chapin. The music of the rock group, Kansas, was a big influence. More recent influences are MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Darrell Evans, and Jars of Clay. One of the unique things about our band is the fact that the ages range from fourteen to fifty-seven years old. This tends to put a new twist on old styles and an old twist on new styles. This band is the result of a 35 year dream. I had a dream to have a band and possibly "make a record" because CD's hadn't been invented yet. All things that are to happen have to have timing. In the case of this CD the timing had to be from God. So, to make a long story a little shorter, we do have a band and we made our first CD after a 35 year wait.
