Singer/songwriter Michael Dyer creates soft-rock and folk/alt-rock songs with poetic and narrative lyrics, warm vocals and harmonies, well-defined bass themes and drum rhythms. Most songs feature dual-lead guitars, subtle pickings, and haunting keyboard. He has produced 3 CDs, all in 2007, which contain 33 songs in total that he composed over multiple years. Most of his songs involve love and relationships, but some listeners have described some songs as "mystical rock" since their lyrics involve search for enlightenment. Michael's 1st CD is Nothing Seems Like What It Seems. The title song of his 2nd CD Our Unwinding Time features backward guitar notes.
